About NYSA Netball Florida
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of NYSA (Netball Youth Sports Association) is to provide a positive and enjoyable sports experience and environment for all participants. By building positive self-esteem, through teaching youths and adults the importance of teamwork, how to respect all participants (coaches, officials, parents, opponent, teammates, etc.), and becoming a productive and beneficial force in the community.
Netball Youth Sports Association Inc. (NYSA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 to promote youth and adult sports in Florida. It has been a dream of the founders of NYSA to develop a program that will highlight Netball as the dynamic sport that it is, at the same time elevating netball to the highest level.
One of NYSA’s goal is to use this sport as a vessel to help foster the growth and development for both boys and girls giving every child an opportunity to participate.
This program is truly non-discriminatory and is especially geared towards motivating the youth, at the same time promoting the sport on all levels.
NYSA believes that allowing children the opportunity to strive for excellence in and out of the classroom will develop the skills they need to meet the challenges of their environment with veracity.
The founders of NYSA have been playing and coaching the sport of Netball for over 30 years throughout the world.
